How to limit the number of test attempts in JumpLMS

JumpLMS lets you control how many times a Learner can attempt a test.

You can set a specific maximum number of attempts, or enter 0 to allow unlimited attempts.

How to limit the number of test attempts

  1. Click on the Courses tab.

  2. Search for the course you want to edit, or find it in the list.

  3. If you are using a touchscreen device, click the course thumbnail. If you are using a computer, hover over the course thumbnail.

  4. Click Edit course.

  5. Click on the Content tab.

  6. Find the test element in the Course Elements list and click Edit. Alternatively, click Add Test to create a new test element.

  7. Set the Maximum number of attempts. Use 0 for unlimited attempts.

  8. Click Preview Element if you want to see how the test will look in the course.

  9. Click Add Element or Save Changes.

The test attempt limit has now been set.
